Branding

This is a mock project I created in order to showcase my branding skills.  The company  I created is a record shop called “Rec.” , as in  to record music. It’s been around since 1998 as indicated in some of the graphics.

I wanted evoke the feeling of being in a record store.  Since records are typically vintage pressings, one tends to feel like going back in time when shopping for them.  So for the brand I wanted it to have a retro aesthetic that was simple yet versatile.
